To maintain an active PMC certification, consultants must demonstrate that they continue to practise and stay current with industry developments. Recertification ensures that PMCs uphold the standards of professionalism, capability, and continuous learning expected of the profession.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
PMCs are required to meet the minimum CPD hours to keep their knowledge, skills, and competencies up to date.
The CPD framework offers a variety of learning opportunities across different competency levels and providers, supporting each consultant’s unique development needs. By pursuing ongoing learning, you enhance your professional growth and continue delivering value-added services to your clients.
For continuous development, you are to include the Sustainability and Data Analytics Course as part of your CPD hours for recertification.

Board Advisor – Application Criteria | ||
Board Management Experience | • Served as a Board Director or Alternate Director for at least 5 years; or • Served as a senior executive for at least 10 years in a listed corporation, statutory board, or regulatory body with responsibilities equivalent to an Executive Director; or • Served at Assistant Professor level or higher, or as a Partner / Sole Proprietor / Senior Manager in professional practice with at least 10 years of experience related to corporations and corporate governance. | |
Competency | • Completion of the Ethics & Law module (required for non-PMCs). | |
Recommendation | • Recommended by the Review Panel and endorsed by the Practising Management Consultant Certification Board (PMC-CB). | |
